Spring is just around the corner (thank goodness) and while it has been a warmer than average Winter in Maryland, I’m looking forward to longer days, sunshine and temperatures to warm up a bit! My favorite seasons for fashion are Spring and Fall. I love layering, mixing and matching seasonal pieces and having fun with my outfits. Summer is too hot for me to get excited about what I’m wearing and Winter is too cold so it’s the transitional seasons that I love the most.
I have a few key pieces that take me from cold weather to warmer weather and I gravitate towards those for Spring time outfits.
This light washed jean jacket is easy to layer with and stay warm on the chillier Spring days, but it also feels good to not need a full down jacket.
I have been wearing Converse sneakers since my 16th birthday when my BFF gifted me my first pair. They are my favorite go-to shoe and go with so many things.
I love skinny jeans and ripped knee jeans, but they don’t get worn that often in the Winter months when I don’t want my skin exposed to the elements. I tent to wear leggings under them in the Winter, but it’s nice to show a little knee through a ripped jean and get extra sun in that spot leading into Spring.
I love beanie & baseball caps and enjoy working them into my outfits. I also really like not having to wash my hair as much so a gradual transition into Spring & Summer is made easier by a baseball cap.
I love the pop of color that this purse instantly gives any outfit. While I use it all year long, I especially love to pair it with a simple outfit and let it stand out. It’s a nice gradual transition from the mainly darker tones of Winter into more fun and bright colors.
